Excuse me,,,,, are you Arab?

Thursday, July 31, 2008 is a one day I’ll be happy to remember.

I wake up around 12:00 noon- because it is a public holiday,- take a shower, put on my T- Shirt, Shorts from Armani Exchange, wear my flip-flops and head to Marina Mall to see if I can beat the crowd for the 4:30 show @ the Gold Class to see Batman.

While I was waiting in the little coffee shop at the entry, I sensed a presence of someone next to me. I turned my head and there she was, a young beautiful lochal girl, with a shy smile. . . she was somewhat hesitant but she had something to say:

She: “Excuse me, Enta 3erbi?”

I smiled to assure her safety, then answered: “Aaamre el shaikha, fe shay?”

She smiled innocently, maybe a little embarrassed to discover that I was a looochal in disguise and said:

“Low sema7t, Bass, Aba ad’7al ashoof film bass maba awgaf fel Line, tegdar tashtere el tathkarah etha mafeha ez3aj wo badfa3lek qeemat haa?”

I paused for a moment to hear 2 voices in my head:

Voice #1: “What are you her servant? She looks healthy, let her go stand in line or go buy it in exchange for her number! ! she looks easy!”

Voice #2: “WUt THaaa? You aint gonna listen to this psycho, you can refuse nicely or go buy the ticket, but don’t you dare ask for anything in return!”

So, I got up asked her to wait @ my table. ..went to the ticket booth to buy her a ticket, returned to my table. . . .

on my way to her, I could see Joy on her gorgeous face. . . . .

Me: “There you are, and don’t worry about the money, its nothing. Go enjoy your movie dear”
She: “No no no, Please take it. . .”

Me: “Please dear, don’t embarrass me, what will AED 30 do for me?”

She: “bass I feel guilty, you must take it”

Me: “Don’t be, and if there is anything you require I am sitting here until my movie starts in ½ an hour”

She: “oh, thank you. . .you are so kind!”.

Me: “please, it was only a movie ticket. .. go enjoy your movie”

She passed by and I could sense her extreme happiness for the gesture. She was almost flying.

I smiled as she walked away to catch her show which was about to start shortly after she got her ticket.

out of all people over there,
she came to me asking for help. . . . . .

that told me something. . . .

I enjoyed that moment very much. . . I did something good today.

Though not significant like saving a life. . . .

but still, It made me feel great. ..^_^

Sorry, no pictures to share in this entry. . .

N-JOY your weekend. . .

@ Nooda: It told me “I should be thankful to Allah” for creating me. Being approachable is a gift I can’t thank him enough for it.

As for your friend, inshallah she receives prosperity, happiness & everything she wished for after the meeting.
