Dinner & Cruise. . .

mom decided that we should have dinner out tonight for a change. She made reservations 2 days in advance. We drove down to the docks at Al Dhafra and boarded a traditional dhow for a 2-hour trip around the Cornish. . . .

I was somewhat hesitant because the weather wasn’t encouraging and honestly, , , , I don’t like traditional boats. . . . if it was me, I would have arranged this dinner on a yacht.

Please don’t hate me for having a modern taste. I am just not a TRADITIONAL type of person, Ya3ny, you won’t find me at Camel races, Falcon hunting trips, traditional boat racings, Palm Date beauty contest, or even watching Yoolah contest . .

It’s just NOT me. . . .

But that does not mean I hate our traditions now.. . come on, its part of our identity

Dinner was great & different. Family gatherings are always nice.

I hope I live long enough to arrange a boat trip for my own family “i.e. my kids and their kids” I also hope by that time, I’ll be able to share those photos with you. . . Y
