Ramadan (Part I)

Hello yaaaaaa’ll.

Hope you are having a great time with your loved ones. . . .
Ok, maybe it’s just me but have you noticed that Nights are Shorter than usual this Ramadan???

We pray Tarawe7, then meet up only to discover that it became 11:00 P.M. 2 or 3 years ago. 3esha prayer was like around 7:15 P.M.

I can only begin to imagine how Ramadan will be like in June, July and August. Allah ye3eenna on the next 8 years. Why?

in 2009, Ramadan should begin by August 22.

in 2010 Ramadan should begin by August 11.

in 2011 Ramadan should begin by August 1.

3 years of burning August . . .

in 2012, Ramadan should begin by July 20.

in 2013, Ramadan should begin by July 9.

in 2014, Ramadan should begin by June 29.

in 2015, Ramadan should begin by June 18.

in 2016, Ramadan should begin by June 7.

The end of Hot Ramadan would be in 2017 where Ramadan should begin by May 27.

Between 2023 and 2035 Ramadan will fall between March and November. ya3ny 12 years of great Ramadan weather.
Allah ya36eekum wo ya36eena 6olat el 3emer to enjoy Ramadan in Winter again. . .

SNAP back to reality. . . ^_^

As I look around the tent, I recall the days when we were just a bunch of 19 & 20 years old boys who had nothing to worry about except university and fun.

I saw the same faces but they aren’t 19 & 20. . . more like 35 to 30, , , and I hate to admit, that magic of being FOR EVER YOUNG WILD & FREE has faded. Today, I see adults, grown ups, most of them are worried about their Kids’ future, their familia basically which is totally normal..
For those who have not embarked on settling down yet, they are looking to do so and are weighting options. (Allah Yarzeghum & 3oqbalkum).

"The good ones are always taken". . . . does that saying remind you of a seat or a parking lot closer to the view or entarence?

Unfortunatly, thats what you hear among some (not all) people who discuss marriage.

If that was true, that would mean that I am “Bad” Because I am not “taken”?

Ooo OOoo, wait, and once I am actually "taken", suddenly I become “Good”?

What is this Crap? ? ?
Ok, I am no Angel but I refuse to be categorized as not "Good" because I am not wallah "Taken". I don’t think all of those who are “Taken” are actually “Good”. Plus, I think there are faaaaaaar better good guys and gals who are not "Taken" yet due to reasons beyond their control.
I think Society has made it harshly difficult and complicating for marriages to form due to increasing inflation, lack of affordable housing units, and lack of laws that control excessive greed that drove everything up.

The unbalanced concentration of wealth drove some (not all) in our society to become so materialistic that they are trying to unconsciously make it a “Standard” for a male to be able to afford an ultra, lavish lifestyle for their daughter. I don’t blame some families for trying to protect their daughters.

Let's see in the following scenario if the groom is good or bad:

Father of the bride: “Ne7en shaaar6een beet roo7ek enta wo 7ermatk”
Groom: “well Geee uncle, I only get paid 90K for Badal Sakan and there is no place in A.D. that would accommodate me with this 90K, how is Musaffa7 or Bani Yas or Sham'7ah for a change? its a little far I know but on the weekends, we will be in A.D. in no time, haa, engool mubrook?”
Father of the bride: “Barraaa3! Get the F#%$ out of my house, el3antallah 3aleek yal sebaaaal ! !”

was the groom good or bad?

This country is ranked as one of the TOP picks for people (from Arab, Asian European nations) to come to work, live and multiply for the next 100 years. . .and I think you know why (disposable income).

Don’t blame them, they also want a piece of the cake just like you because they want to live, or be as good as you if not better. They outnumber the LooOOoochals. . . don't forget that.

ya3ny, their presence is far more important than the presence of LoOoOochals. . .

Hey, thats not my opinion. . . thats what the numbers say, , , , because they:

  • Consume more than all lochals,
  • Are happy with lesser pay,
  • Live in the lochal's buildings,
  • Teach the Lochals,
  • Build lochal's buildings and houses,
  • Run lochal's businesses,
  • Drive lochal's sons and daughters to school,
  • Raise lochal's children,
  • Sell lochals cars, trucks, jewelry and everything,
  • Are far more experienced & smarter than all LoOochals,
  • do many other things that LoOoOchals would not normally do or can't do,

The fact is, it’s only a matter of Time & Money before we see a huge and very obvious change in the Lochal mindset where the unlochal (in both genders, not males only) becomes far more desirable than the lochal provided there is a drop in lochal birth rates and increase in unlochal birth rates. . . .power in numbers.

One day, Lochal identity will become diluted, unfortunately.

It would be really interesting to see hostorical birth rates among UAE nationals for the past 25 years. . .

I bet you it is decreasing or steady and not increasing anymore, but I hope I am wrong.

As for my Job Hunt, nothing yet. . . but I still got faith something will come up soon. ^_^

Why should we wait for years to see that the foreigners in our country out number us (the locals)? This is how it is NOW! It's scary eh? I swear I've seen more locals bar3 than back home in UAE!

(Father of the bride: “Barraaa3! Get the F#%$ out of my house, el3antallah 3aleek yal sebaaaal ! !”)

lol don't you think this is a bit of exaggeration !!
my thoughts that there might be people of who think that way but they will deliver the message in a bit more civilized manner ;p

@ DxBroSe: Allah yebarek feech, ye3oodah 3aleena wo 3alekum wo 3al mesleem jemee3. . .
LOL, the father of the bride thing was my comical way of showing the irony embedded in inflation. . not everyone is born with a golden spoon in his/ her mouth.

@ Nooda: Yes :-) I exagurated because I like to make it comical and I also know that people are civilized when it comes to such sensitive issues. if the scenario was “Normal”, people will not read it, :-P I like to be comical to appeal to my reader. Not to poke fun or negatively criticize some one or a whole group. hence, I always use the phrase (some, not all) to show that I am not generalizing.
Those who were born in the 70s and early 80s ,allah ye3enhum. It is their responsibility to FIX so many things and accelerate growth in this country. . . bass how can they do that if they don’t feel (SUPPORT). ?
Allah yebarek feech :-)

@ Karamilah: 3aleena wo 3aleech . . . . Allah yesma3 men wo inshallah yekoon Ramadan sahel in Summer. . .
Yes we are outnumbered because were are not multiplying as fast as they are. . .
